how should i take care of my matcha?
✿ Store in an airtight container — keep it sealed to prevent air exposure.
✿ Keep it cool and dark — store in a pantry or cupboard, away from sunlight and heat.
✿ Use clean, dry utensils — always scoop with a dry spoon to avoid clumping.
✿ Buy small, fresh batches — enjoy within 1–2 months after opening for best flavor.
✿ Refrigerate unopened tins if storing long-term, but let them return to room temperature before opening.

matcha ratio
your matcha ratio is entirely up to you ! however, we do recommend 10ml of hot water for every 1 gram of matcha to prevent overdiluted matcha. you can use from 2-4 grams (1-2 tsp) a cup depending on how strong you want it ! milk to matcha ratio also needs to be balanced as too much milk can wash out the taste of your matcha. use we use 1:40 ratio (4 grams of matcha : 120 ml milk) to get that perfect balance between fatty taste of milk and deep umami fragrance of the matcha !

chasen care
chasen are very fragile and delicate, they can be easily damaged if not taken care of properly ! soak it in warm/hot water for about 1-2 minutes to bloom the chasen before whisking. avoid using dish soap and other cleaning agent; instead, whisk the chasen in a bowl under running warm water and let it dry off on a chasen-holder after use. every 2 weeks, submerge the chasen in boiling water for 20 minutes to deep clean it. take care of your chasens !
